Bringing new life to forgotten hotels.

The Shire Woodstock

Built in 1963 as a 12-room motel, The Shire has been cared for, improved and expanded over time. Saltaire Hotels purchased the hotel and lovingly enhanced this celebrated property with the addition of new riverfront guest rooms and gathering spaces - bringing the room count to 50, discreetly improved amenities, and a commitment to guest services.

Harbor Hotel Provincetown

Occupying a prime position with sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay, Harbor Hotel Provincetown is Provincetown’s largest and most stylish hotel and events facility. In partnership with Finard Properties, Saltaire redeveloped the former Holiday Inn with key interventions, including all new interiors, the removal of large areas of asphalt and replacement with a fire pit and dunescape, a reinvigorated food and beverage program, the introduction of an arts program, and energetic management.  Saltaire and its partners sold the hotel to a national owner/operator.

The Ellery

The Ellery offers deeply comfortable accommodations adjacent to Smith College and within walking distance of downtown Northampton, a vibrant city infused with culture and surrounded by a constellation of top-notch schools. Saltaire purchased the hotel, formerly the Autumn Inn, and set about repositioning the property with all new interiors, an exterior refurbishment, and enhanced guest services and amenities.
